Unidirectional aramid fiber fabric is made from spun aramid fiber yarn oriented in warp direction and hot melt line oriented in weft direction. Tensile strength of monofilament can reach 3620MPa.Besides, aramid fiber is fire-proof , cut-proof and electricity conductivity resistant.
It can be compatible with epoxy, vinyl, polyester and other resins on the market. After forming fiber-resin matrix( laminate),it behaves incredible mechanical performance and reinforcing effect on structures. Fabric can meet your project requirements strictly in accordance with ASTM test standard.
The basic steps of project operation as below:
* concrete surface preparation
crack repair, leak stop, get rid of the aged, loose concrete part
* brush primer (0.2-0.4kg/m2)
* base surface preparation( putty 1.0-1.5kg/m2)
* brush epoxy resin on the surface(0.4-0.5kg/m2)
* stick the basalt fiber fabric onto structure
* saturate the fabric by brushing epoxy resin along the fabric, ensure that there is no bubble existing in the composite matrix( very crucial) 0.1-0.2kg/m2
* if more following basalt fiber fabric layer, brush 4-6times each layer
* FRP wrap operation is completed, however, keep the structure from any impact during the following 24hrs |
